Displaying Different Related Categories for Each Collection

If you want each category to have its own set of sub-categories (for example, without duplicating the same sub-categories across all categories), you can configure this using a Collection List section together with Metafields.

This approach allows every collection page to display its own relevant sub-categories, while still using the same layout and functionality across the site.

How It Works

  1. Add a Collection List section to your collection template.
  2. Create a Metafield that allows you to select multiple collections.
  3. Assign different collections (sub-categories) to this metafield for each main collection.
  4. Connect the Collection List section to the metafield so that it dynamically displays the assigned sub-categories on each collection page.

With this setup, each category can show its own sub-category list, keeping your store organized and avoiding unnecessary duplication.
