# Displaying Different Related Categories for Each Collection

If you want each category to have its own set of sub-categories (for example, without duplicating the same sub-categories across all categories), you can configure this using a **Collection List section** together with **Metafields**.
This approach allows every collection page to display **its own relevant sub-categories**, while still using the same layout and functionality across the site.

#### How It Works
1. Add a **Collection List** section to your collection template.
2. Create a **Metafield** that allows you to select multiple collections.
3. Assign different collections (sub-categories) to this metafield for each main collection.
4. Connect the Collection List section to the metafield so that it dynamically displays the assigned sub-categories on each collection page.
With this setup, each category can show **its own sub-category list**, keeping your store organized and avoiding unnecessary duplication.
