# ❓ How to hide the "Powered by Shopify"?

Want to fully own your store's look and feel? Hide the "Powered by Shopify" text and make it truly yours. Just follow these steps:
1. Go to the Theme editor.
2. Navigate to Footer.
3. Uncheck the Show **Powered by Shopify** text setting.
