How to show Frequently Bought Together products using metafield?

Instead of showing the same fixed set of products in the Frequently Bought Together section for all of products on your site, you can customize which products are shown by using metafield. You may refer to below for the step-by-step guidance.

Step 1: 

Create a product metafield. Name it as you want (e.g. Frequently bought together) and make sure to click on “Select Type” and choose Product - List of products. Click Save.

Step 2:

Back to the Shopify admin, click to open the Products tab, choose a product you want, and scroll down to the Metafields section. 

Step 3:

Find the product metafield you just created, click “Select products” and choose the products you want from the list. Click Save when done.

Step 4:

Head back to the Frequently Bought Together block. Now, when you're choosing the products, click the dynamic source button. Pick the metafield you just created.

Step 5: 

Click Save when done.
